The Kim Center of Social Balance participated in the Nonprofit Academy last week, sponsored by the City of San Diego and hosted by the Nonprofit Institute at University of San Diego. This two-day workshop regularly sells out, and is designed to accelerate nonprofit success and sustainability in San Diego. Featuring City staff, University professors, and other local experts, the presentations covered topics of spot-on relevance to today’s nonprofit leaders.
“It was a wonderful opportunity to deepen existing relationships with key local leaders and create new ones. The City and the Nonprofit Institute have done a wonderful job demonstrating their commitment to understanding and addressing the specific needs of nonprofits in San Diego,” said Hei-ock Kim, executive director of the Kim Center.
