Tom Lemmon, Vice President

CHAIR & CEO, SAN DIEGO COUNTY BUILDING TRADES COUNCIL FAMILY HOUSING CORPORATION (RETIRED)

Tom Lemmon is the Chair and CEO of the San Diego County Building Trades Council Family Housing Corporation. In addition, he is the Business Manager of the San Diego County Building and Construction Trades Council, AFL-CIO that represents over twenty-two affiliated construction and trades unions with separate jurisdictions throughout the county. As Business Manager, Tom represents the Council’s interests in development projects throughout San Diego County.

Tom is also currently Chair of the California State Parks Off-Road Commission, a Director for the United Way of San Diego, a Labor Representative on the Workforce Investment Board, and a Charter member of the San Diego Middle Class Taxpayers Association.

Tom splits his time between the beach and the desert with his wife Karen and daughter KT, having ties to the community at both locations. He is also the founder of the OMBAC Classic Longboard Surfing Contest an ongoing event spanning 25 plus years. As a desert enthusiast he focuses time and energy on issues affecting off-roaders and the environment.
