Eduardo Velasquez

SR RESEARCH MANAGER, SAN DIEGO REGIONAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORP

The EDC is a nonprofit mobilizing business, government, and civic leaders maximizing the region’s economic prosperity and global competitiveness. Eduardo is responsible for analyzing the scale and depth of impact that industry and development have on the region’s economy. Additionally, he leads EDC’s Inclusive Growth Initiative. Eduardo also serves on his neighborhood planning group and is the Board Chair of Circulate San Diego, a local mobility and land use think tank.

Prior to EDC, Eduardo worked as an Economist at Wells Fargo Bank. He earned an MA in Business Economics, as well as a Double BA in Business Economics and Law & Society from University of California, Santa Barbara.
