News Release
Supervisor Greg Cox recommended a second award of $5,000 for the Kim Center for Social Balance on February 13, 2018, in support of the Kim Center’s efforts to create workplace gender equity. The Board of Supervisors approved the additional funding from the County Neighborhood Reinvestment Program. The award will allow the Kim Center to complete its Gender Equity Portal, a comprehensive online information center designed to educate and inform Americans seeking to achieve workplace gender equity.
The nonprofit Kim Center for Social Balance empowers communities to transform their beliefs and behaviors through collaboration and metrics. We make change through the Gender Equity Portal (www.kimcenter.org) and the Gender Equity Consultancy, which educate and aid organizations and individuals seeking to achieve or impact workplace gender equity.
